Since I keep missing her online since I finished this for her..
( a duck for Mel )( instead of Tom )Went to the Market yesterday since it was the second to last weekend of it. I needed to find out which winter venues the ocarina making lady would be at, since I can't really afford the $50 dollar model for Wm now, but it would be a nice Christmas/b-day present for him. I got myself a new one. Which I didn't need. And it's a raven too. But I love the ravens, and it's a quieter one then my other one.
( I also got a bear type thing )I got new Chucks! Okay.. I admit, I have a problem... BUT.. I actually put them in the closet for when I need them. You see, at some point, pink shoes will be hard to find again, they are starting to get harder now to find. They were clearance priced of course, and a different shade of pink from my other Chucks. However I feel this deep almost trendiness with all these pairs of pink chucks I get over by thinking "But they are all pink and most people don't wear them with silk sweaters and dressy skirts", well, one pair isn't, they are black with pink accents. Emily actually like me to wear one pink one and one black one so I do that frequently. I also found a second pair of light pink Keds like mine. I asked Emily if she wanted a pair, then offered her an odd choice. "Do you want my old pair, or the new pair?" See, my pair are what I've been wearing all summer, so they are comfy comfy. And she's been trying to get a couple pairs of my old shoes from me for the sheer comfort of them. She wanted my old ones. So I also have new pink Keds. Before people get convinced I'm all sorts of yuppie or preppy or trendy though, please realise, I spent about 30.00 for both pairs of shoes. And I admit my pink shoe addiction freely enough. Makes me easy to spot at cons though, the frightfully old fashioned looking girl with long hair and bright pink shoes. They used to describe my dad as the guy with the hats, they describe me as the girl in the pink shoes.
