My finished but yet unnamed alien.
I used size 10 crochet cotton and a size 7 hook. Which I dropped at one point, realized I didn't like the look of stitched on eyes, frogged the whole thing to string the two size E beads on the cotton, then found my hook and re-started.

I realized though that picture of my darling little guy (who I kept talking to while making him saying "Who's the little man??" and "Aren't you CUTE!" which no man likes to hear unless they are an alien. For some reason cute offends.) didn't really show scale.

So I took a picture with the last alien I made. I don't have the first, remember, Wm took him. Of course, still not great for scale. Makes my hand sized alien look huge yes?

So I thought, how about something from my purse for scale? These were the first two things I pulled out. Again, not great. Unless you happen to have a HK compact or Death Mints and know what size they are.

So I took a picture with the contents of my purse - camera and iPod. Because they weren't in my purse at the time. I reduced that one. Because I figure most people know how big the money is, so that gives scale for the rest right? Yes. I do actually carry a ducttape wallet. Yes. That is the first picture of it. If you ever want to make one, use Scotch brand tape. Seriously. It's thinner. It folds better. Yes, it SEEMS more expensive, but check the yardage, it's not really, and goes on sale frequently.

He's a happy alien.So he dances.
Mike says he needs a third leg and a mouth. But I think he was making a lewd remark. At some point though I will make one that will go into a special adults only filter.
I have a tiny alien! I carry my other one in my pocket when I'm wearing something with pockets, and people look at me so strangely. This one though is small enough, nobody would know.
Is that an alien in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?
